Welcome New Roadrunners!

We are excited to welcome our new Roadrunners to the Butte College community! During Orientation, you'll explore campus, chat with the financial aid team, meet with an academic counselor, and sign up for classes. Orientation is all about getting you set up for a successful start at Butte College!

All new students must complete an in-person Orientation. 

Register for summer 2024 Orientation 

Some students are exempt (students enrolling in Summer classes or non-credit courses, and K-12 students). Additionally, some students are eligible to complete Online Orientation:

Not your first time in college? If you are transferring in from another college or have 24+ units at another college, you may qualify to complete an Online Orientation instead of attending in person. Complete the Online Orientation Request form to find out if you are eligible. 

Other life circumstances? If you have other life circumstances that prevent you from participating in an in-person Orientation, please complete the Online Orientation Request form. These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 

Important Steps Before Orientation

Before attending Orientation, ensure you have:

1. Completed a Butte College Application.
2. Received your student ID number, student email address, and password. This information was emailed to you after applying to Butte College. If you did not receive an email with your username and password, call Student Tech Support at (530) 895-2925 or email StudentTechSupport@eficas.net. You will need your Butte College Student ID to register for Orientation).
3. Accessed your Butte College Portal - Self-Service.
